Straight No Chaser Cambridge Concert reviews
Not good planning for a large crowd.
When we arrived at 7:25, the doors had just opened, and the line to get in was probably at least 5000 strong. The concert was supposed to start at 8 pm with doors opening at 7 pm. They couldn't start the show on time because over half of the crowd was still outside. So we went to get a drink and use the restroom. It took us over 45 minutes to get in, by then it was 8:15. The lines for the food and drink were probably at least 50 yards long. So we found our seats, and after the long wait, we were very thirsty. The concert finally started about 50 minutes late, and we were still in the drink line, so we missed the first song. The lines for the restroom were out the door, so that took a while, and the drinking fountains were blocked off and not in use, but the music was very enjoyable. Luckily, the band sounded great, but the overall experience was not very pleasant.
